In order to communicate and share this commitment, HEC invites young people to visit the facilities and discover the company’s innovative green practices.
“These tours provide a unique opportunity to see the transition to a circular economy and through these interactive experiences, we aim to inspire and raise awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability among the younger generations and have them discover with us how we can invest in the future of our planet,” said Ms. Reppa.
Organisation of visits and guided tours
The two companies believe that informing and educating the younger generations is a key factor in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. With this in mind, they regularly organise visits and guided tours of their facilities for schoolchildren and students.
These visits offer a unique opportunity for young people to get in touch with the practices and initiatives taken by companies to protect the environment. “Through this practical experience, they can gain a better understanding of the challenges and solutions applied in the real world”, it is noted and stressed:
“The interest and response of students and schoolchildren has exceeded all expectations. Last year alone, more than 600 young people visited us, having the opportunity to learn more about our environmental practices. This gives us hope that the next generation will continue to champion the principles of sustainability and environmental responsibility.”
